As I sit here, listening to The Irish Rover I thought, why not properly work out how much money I need to buy a capture card, cables and connectors in order to film things on the Xbox.
Well... Here I am.

Where would you suggest going to, to buy the equipment I need?

This video shows you how to connect things up and it gives urls to where the guy bought the things from, but I'd like to find out where else I can get them.

So follow this link please:

and post your thoughts.

They sell alot of these things on eBay. I don't think you would find any stuff at PC-world or such.

eBays the best place.

i wouldn't have a clue then. I would normally find stuff like the from packs when you buy a camera or something, if you have bought stuff like cameras and stuff in the past go look for the boxes and browse through them. Navmans and tom toms have a few as well.

I know but I don't know what they are called. I can't just search "double ended cable"

well the other day i was searching on how to play my xbox on my computer and i found out i need a capture card to display it..... so i searched for a lil bit and came up with this

http://cgi.ebay.com/External-Easy-CAP-USB-2-0-Video-TV-To-DVD-Capture-Card_W0QQitemZ180338593559QQcmdZViewItemQQptZPCC_Video_TV_Cards?hash=item180338593559&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

(yea its a big link lol) These work awesome it has usb the cables for sound (red and white) and video (yellow) the other one is for a diffrent type of cable... the brand is "easy cap" and not quite how much it will cost you its $15 pretty cheep
